Laser Dentistry for General Practice
3rd International Dental laser Course

Last December 9-11th 2011, Light Care International Fotona U.A.E. Distributor in cooperation with University of Sharjah College of Dentistry, conducted the 3rd International Dental Laser Training Course. This was a 3 day event that aims to promote laser for dental practice. Sharjah University again opened its state of the art facilities for better learning and experience. We had invited guest and participants on the dental field from different places in the Middle East like Pakistan, Jordan, Iraq, and Lebanon. We also invited a representative from FOTONA Slovenia in the presence of Mile Bjelic the Regional Marketing Manager for Fotona U.A.E. The Event was headed by  2 professional speakers  on the dental laser  field Dr. Ilay Maden and Dr. Kresimir Simunovic which are very enthusiastic  on showing their experiences and knowledge on using Fotona Laser on their Dental Practices . Different dental cases were presented during the event on both Endodontic and Periodontal dentistry. On the other hand a 2 day hands on workshop were experienced by the participants. The organizers invited some patients for the case presentation which also preferred by the speakers. During the surgical procedure we had an interactive discussion in which a camera is connected to a projector for real time presentation. Furthermore the views and opinions by the participants were entertained by the speaker after a certain dental laser surgery.  It was a successful event for both organizing Institutions. We have seen some potential buyers that are looking forward for their innovative practice on the dental field. We hope till the next dental laser event will be more fruitful and successful like the previous ones.
